Any casual observer of this blawg will know that the Marvelous Marvin is one of my favorite entertainers of all time. John Legend and yah, R. Kelly thanks for carrying the torch. Marvin's birthday is actually today and his death came yesterday when I was in high school; thought it was an April Fools joke like John Lennon's death but that was the wrong month..... The World will never be the same but he sure did leave us with some gems. Here are a few that I have selected from beginning to end that should have even the haters working up a good head-nod of appreciation.

7. What's going on live, truly amazing and my favorite of all.
