Blikmaniac allegedly signed up in March '10. Hotz's hack was in January '10

By Pamela Jones et al.

ADVERTISEMENTS
Sony Computer Entertainment America alleged in its opposition to George's Hotz's Motion to Dismiss that Hotz opened a PlayStation Network account under the nym blikmaniac on March 10, 2010. But if you check SCEA's complaint [PDF], Hotz's hack SCEA is complaining about allegedly happened in January of 2010.

So, even if Hotz was blikmaniac, which hasn't yet been proven to my satisfaction, I don't think he was in any kind of agreement at the time of the hack, if ever. Because SCEA is relying on those terms to try to establish jurisdiction, that's not too good for SCEA. I don't know why it took me a couple of days to realize this, but better late than never.
