How Low Can Ben Stein Go?

Lower than we ever imagined, apparently. Here he is paying a visit to the Trinity Broadcasting Network. This is fertile ground for the pablum he's peddling, of course, as it is watched by millions of simpletons just dying to blame all the world's problems on evolution and hear someone stand up for Gawd Almighty. But he hit rock bottom with these comments, which should be viewed as offensively stupid by anyone with an IQ above that of a turnip:
