Linn County , Iowa is two and one half hours away from West Des Moines , Iowa where I live. As far as the lawyers who work in downtown Cedar Rapids are concerned it might as well be on the moon. The water in downtown Cedar Rapids went high enough that it breached the 500 year flood plane zone.
