Why You Should Attend ABA TECHSHOW 2008 -- Part 3

In the first two entries in this series, I talked about the great content to be found at ABA TECHSHOW, and the fantastic speakers who will be providing that content. Today I want to mention another reason to come to ABA TECHSHOW: the Exhibitors. This year we'll have more than 100 legal technology companies represented in our Expo Hall, in just about every category imaginable. To me, this is one of the best things about attending legal technology shows like ABA TECHSHOW -- the ability to see, all in one place, most of the major vendors in this space. Let's say you're searching for a case management or document management system -- where else can you find representatives from the major providers all in the same place, ready to demonstrate their products for you? This makes it easy for you to compare and contrast products, and give you the hands-on information you need to make your technology buying decision. Another reason why I am excited about our Expo Hall this year is a small but important one -- it's in the same area as the educational sessions. At our previous location, the setup of the hotel required us to locate the Expo Hall several floors below the main conference floor. But this year at the fabulous Hilton Chicago, you can simply walk out of the conference area and across the hall, and you're in the Expo Hall! Now when you hear about a great product in one of the sessions, you're literally just a few steps away from trying it out yourself across the hall. Reminder: the Early Bird deadline is fast approaching. Make sure you visit the ABA TECHSHOW site before February 1 to take advantage of up to $300 in savings in registration fees. Also, check to see if your bar association or other affiliated group is an ABA TECHSHOW Program Promoter -- if they are, you may be entitled to an additional registration discount.
