: Chris King's 1st Amendment PageHey KingCast do you really think that Mass Senator Bruce Tarr cares about your proposed bill, "Robert Taylor's Law?"
By Christopher King

Afternoon update: We met with his assistant Daniel Pawson and it was golden. Look for the bill to be introduced before the end of the month. In a word, yes. Put simply, prospective tenants have a right to know whether their building has been inspected. My thinking on it was since there are punishments for not continuing to have the building inspected over the course of a landlord-tenant relationship, there ought be some measure to prevent the nondisclosure of a non-inspected building up front.
He and his staff have already made their edits and circulated it back for my comment and I'm All Good with it. He's proved that he cares about the little people in this World, irrespective of the fact that he is a Republican. Look at his work on Melanie's Law against repeat drunk drivers. And look at the task force he created to save Gloucester's Addison-Gilbert Hospital. That is why we cannot always play identity politics. We must view each candidate or politician as they come; take them on the merits. I look forward to our 2:00 meeting today.
