Kean Miller Update - Hurricane Gustav - September 9

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the aftermath of Hurricane Gustav.  The Kean Miller Management Team continues to evaluate the effects of the storm on the communities where we live and work.

• Our main office in downtown Baton Rouge is open and is unaffected by the storm.  Our  personnel have returned to work.  Information Technology, Facility Systems and email service are operational.  One American Place has power, air conditioning, and the building is secure.   
• Our office on Bluebonnet Boulevard in Baton Rouge is open.
• Our Lake Charles office is open. 
• Our New Orleans office is open.   
• Our Plaquemine office is open.

The Management Team continues to monitor Hurricane Ike in accordance with firm's disaster recovery plan.  Currently there are hundreds of thousands of Louisiana residents without power.  There is widespread wind damage, downed power lines, damaged homes and businesses, and fallen trees across the region. Many areas of South Louisiana will be without electricity for 2 to 3 weeks.
