BVerfG: Laptop-Verbot im Gerichtssaal rechtens

Journalisten darf die Nutzung von Laptops im Gerichtssaal gerichtlich verboten werden. Das hat das Bundesverfassungsgericht mit Blick auf den Oldenburger Prozess um eine tödliche Holzklotzattacke entschieden.

Mit einem Beschluss (1 BvQ 47/08) lehnte das Karlsruher Gericht einen Eilantrag eines Journalisten gegen eine Verfügung des Strafkammervorsitzenden beim Landgericht ab. Danach sind tragbare Computer im Sitzungssaal nicht zugelassen.
