: Magic CookieSomething I'm supposed to do
I hope this has to do with my failure to get any work done last night, my lack of preparation for the holidays, the fact that I don't even know the flight times for our upcoming vacation, or the mess in our house, and not something else that I'm forgetting about. Actually, as I was writing this, I remembered four more things that I need to take care of in the next two days before we leave.
I'm looking forward to the day after Christmas.
K spent most of yesterday yelling (possibly because of residual shower trauma), but was in a great mood this morning to make up for it. I was giving him pieces of canteloupe, and he kept insisting, "No little ca-lope. Big one!" When he finished that one, I asked if he wanted another. "Yes. BIG one!" And another? "Yeah! REALLY big one!"
His verbal explosion lately makes me think of my brother's assertion that your kid is not a person until they can participate in a reasoned conversation. I think we're pretty close, even though I'm not sure how much you can really reason with someone whose main topics of conversation are lightbulbs and snowmen.
