 The Honorable Richard Yale FederJack Thompson of Coral Gables earlier this week posted comments regarding his thoughts on Dade jurist, the Honorable Richard Feder, who is sitting for Judge Bober this week. Thompson blogged of Feder "This guy is a menace," who supports the possession of child porn. (See "Jaablog Welcome", 1/6/09 at 10:27 AM) However, Jack Thompson had a brief adversarial judicial history with Judge Feder that he failed to disclose. Twenty years ago, Thompson was named as a defendant in a libel action by radio talk show hosts Neil Rogers and Steve Kane. Judge Feder was the judge. Norm Kent, Rogers? long time attorney, was Counsel for the Plaintiffs. It was his first legal run in with Thompson.
