: Never In Our NamesSalim Hamdan: Free at Last

After being detained in 2001, Hamdan arrived at Guantanamo in 2002.
In August, Hamdan was found guilty on one count of providing material support to terrorism, but cleared of more serious charges that he conspired and plotted attacks for Al-Qaeda.He was returned to Yemen in November, 2008, to serve the final days of his sentence. Last week he arrived at his family's home at long last.
This is but one of many stories coming from Guantanamo these days. Not all end with good news or at least with freedom. Some detainees have died. Many are now undertaking a hunger strike. With the advent of a new administration in only a few more days we have hope this rampant abuse will end at last. Until then the tales will continue to be told one at a time.
