Vielen Hochschulen droht derzeit eine regelrechte Pensionierungswelle. Allein in Nordrhein-Westfalen scheiden jährlich mehr als 300 Professorinnen und Professoren aus dem Dienst aus. Damit der Hochschulbetrieb nicht leidet, haben viele Bundesländer die Pensionierungsgrenze von 65 auf 68 Jahre angehoben.

Das heißt: Immer mehr Studierende werden es in Zukunft mit sogenannten Seniorprofessoren zu tun bekommen.
