Texas carried out it's second execution of 2009, last night in Huntsville.  It was the third execution in the nation this year, following earlier executions in Texas and Alabama. AP has this report on the execution of Frank Moore, via the San Antonio Express-News. According to TDCJ, an additional 12 execution dates are already set in 2009, and more are expected to be added. Last night's execution was the 425th in the state since 1982; the 186th execution in the administration of Governor Rick Perry.  It was the 1,139 post-Furman execution in the nation.
