Where the Sun Don't Shine

By Anne Skove, Esq.

ADVERTISEMENTS

We thought solar power needed, well, sunlight.

Let's hope for their sake that Saginaw, MIchigan, has enough of the light stuff to keep a solar courthouse running. If we were they, we'd hold out for a windmill or install one of those exercise rooms where the treadmills are hooked up to generators.

See Solar Panels Proposed for Saginaw County Courthouse, Parking Garage, Barrie Barber, Saginaw News (February 19, 2009).

If it doesn't work, they can pool their money and send it to a place where the sun does shine. If it does work, more power to 'em.
