ADVERTISEMENTS
All of the "special appearance" bath robes that Ira sent over are at the cleaner, so Ruth and I are going to dial in to Irving's town hall meeting in about an hour. I'm thinking it will be just like the days when we sat around the radio and listened to FDR.
Ruth says that Irving's update won't be as entertaining as the comments here, and John Crudele at the NY Post doesn't think it'll be nearly as informative--he says he prefers getting his tips from here,- but it'll be toll free, just like this column. 877-419-6600
To Mel Weiss, Former Partner Milberg, Weiss LP (c/o US Federal Correctional Facility)
From: Bernie:
Mel-your boys at Milberg are doing a great job of elbowing under the backboards so they can get a first row seat when it comes to any claims against the estate.
Even I almost laughed when I read they deserve a senior claim position because they represent the biggest class of investors that lost "$46 million." Mel-I'm not sure if those guys are perfecting what you taught them about rounding up class action claimants and all of those side deals, but Herrick represents more than $100 million...but then again, they're suing the SEC.."
To "Elly"
From: Bernie:
I'm sorry that we don't have an opening for a personal chef at the moment. We already have two different chef's, one for me and one for Ruth...so I'm guessing that you can maybe call Ezra--just tell him you worked at BMIS.
Last:
To Andy. When you call into Picard's meeting, don't be a smartass and ask why he didn't freeze the Cohmad assets when they had the chance. You already caused enough problems with Allen Stanford!
