Here is the chronology of events that resulted in me breaking my blog's FeedBurner feed and then fixing it.
- On 03/02/09, I published a blog post. The blog post correctly appeared in my feed, which is powered by FeedBurner.
- On 03/08/09, I updated the All in One SEO Pack plugin to version 1.4.7.4.
- On 03/11/09, I published two blog posts, neither of which appeared in my feed.
- Again on 03/12/09, I published a blog post that appeared on my blog by not in my feed.
- Today, 03/13/09, I disabled the All in One SEO Pack then published test blog posts. My blog posts are now correctly appearing in my feed. Therefore, the problem is the All in One SEO Pack plugin.
Keep a changelog for your blog, your computer, and any other system you tinker with. When you break something, the most likely culprit is whatever you changed last.
Of course, now my blog's SEO is all screwed up, but if I have to choose between a functional feed with bad SEO and a broken feed with good SEO, then I'll choose the former.
WordPress is officially driving me crazy.
