Birthday Wishes To Ruth From Bernie

It seems like yesterday, when you were my sweet underage sweetheart. I even remember the first birthday present that I got for you. Who would have thought it would have grown in value so much!

We've had so many great birthdays together, and a few sad ones--but you should celebrate every day like its your birthday--just like always!

That nice boy Abby--the shvartza pirate from Somali--and a few others here were kind enough to make a cake for you... I tried to tell Abby what you like, but he doesn't speak such great English....sort of like dealing with the people that sent out account statements for us...no names mentioned..but he promised that you'll love it--and since I haven't seen it, one of the guards said he'd have a photo of it uploaded to the blog for me.

Sort of strange sending cakes out of a prison, instead of the other way around, but they said they managed to put something special inside for you.

Everyone should go out to dinner tonight to celebrate. Tell Marcia to give you one of the Amex black cards that we kept for emergency use.
