Protest Sign of the Day

ADVERTISEMENTS

I'm not a fan of protests. Yes, I recognize the importance of them as a tool for change. But let's face it, most of the time protests achieve nothing at all and they're made up mostly of people chanting stupid slogans (seriously, can we retire the "what do we want? when do we want it" thing like yesterday? Same with "2, 4, 6, 8" and "hey hey insert name." Write some new material).

But I like this protest sign a lot. Glenn Beck is being given the key to the city by Mt. Vernon, Washington, where he apparently grew up. And a protestor had a sign that said "Change the locks." Bravo.
