Victory in Colorado

The Freedom From Religion Foundation has won an important case in Colorado, reaching a settlement that fixed a pretty blatant establishment clause violation. The case involved a program used by the Cherry Creek School District in Denver called 40 Developmental Assets. Asset 19 on the list was the following:

"Religious Community - Young person spends one or more hours per week in activities in a religious institution."
