Positive changes have been made with respect to Hartford's structured settlement program.

1. If a structured settlement annuity is being considered, the broker must provide to the claimant at least two different annuity company quotes for the claimant to make a decision. 

2. There is no requirement to place (or quote) a Hartford Life annuity.

3. There will be no approved life company list.

4. The broker will determine (based on jurisdiction) whether there is a requirement for A+ vs A ratings.
