In The Past 24 Hours I Have….

Been the subject of not one but two classmates’ dreams. Talked more in class in one day than I have all semester (sorry folks, I liked the cases). Been told I had warm eyes. Been mistaken for a hiring attorney at an OCI event (thank god career service’s straightened that one out, although I was looking forward to hiring an intern for briefing). Attended an interview that went well and increased my interest in working at the organization. Had a last minute interview scheduled, and then rescheduled ten minutes later because someone took my spot while I was on the phone scheduling. Picked up my shoes from the cobbler. Discovered that when I asked for toe-taps to keep the soles lasting longer that I was given heal caps as well. Learned that I can now actually tap-dance in two pair of shoes. Picked up my car from the mechanic shop after both an oil change AND repairing a broken taillight (that someone seems to have kicked out). Bought a new white shirt to wear to my last minute interview since I haven’t had time to dry clean. Washed said white shirt. Ruined said white shirt with mystery red and blue spots. Washed aforementioned shirt twice to get the stains out (they came out). Tried to figure out my travel plans to Vegas tomorrow three different ways. Looked at wedding invitations. Helped pick a DJ. Packed for Vegas.

It’s now 12:16a.m., and I’m waiting for one load of drying to finish so that I can put a final load in to dry and go to bed.

I have an interview at 8:40a.m. I should be done by 9:00a.m. I will be on the road to Vegas by 9:30a.m. I will be wearing a suit the entire trip to Vegas. I will hit the strip with style and grace.
