: Des Moines Personal Injury LawyerAre Americans Really What the U.S. Chamber Cares About?
By Steve Lombardi
Does the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the ATRA receive financial support from Chinese business interests or the Chinese Communist Party or the Government in China?
When it comes to the American job market consider what I've written before. The American manufacturing industry is in tatters, having been moved by American businessmen and women to China. China, using cheap labor and nonexistent environmental checks and balances export poison not just to America, but to the world economies. I've not been silent on what I believe allowed the melamine poisoning of infant formula to escalate to hundreds of thousands of Chinese babies. What allowed the contamination to be so widespread was that no Chinese citizen was allowed to challenge or to publicly criticize the Chinese government or the Chinese Communist Party. You can read more about the Free Speech Cure for China by reading these posts.
Free Speech is the Only Cure for China's Next Melamine Problem ...
... Free Speech is the Only Cure for China's Next Melamine Problem. ... 101k
Food and Toy Safety: China's refusal to allow free speech ...... Miscellaneous. Miscellaneous. Food and Toy Safety: China's refusal to allow free speech increases our risk of exposure to melamine and lead. ... 97k
And while other news sources may 'report' post-problem no one is examining the root causes of corruption in the Chinese government. It seems news sources and the American business community is pat sitting idly by fearful of saying what needs to be said. This criticism includes the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. I have in the past jokingly referred to them as the U.S. Chamber of Communism, I'm wondering if it's not a joke; because those running this organization say nothing while the problems in China seem to continue. The U.S. Chamber has to decide whether it represents the interests of Americans or just profit makers, here and in China.
Lately, America's largest imported product seems to be communism ...
... corruption they will convince America they are serious about export safety ... anti-Chinese government that creates human rights policy that suppresses free speech? ... 101k
You may ask how we can protect ourselves. Well, if the Chinese citizens could talk freely about they are seeing that would certainly help to ferret out corruption in China. Chinese activists need to be freed from the restrictions imposed on their speaking freely. What America needs to export to China are civil rights that allow Chinese citizens to publicly criticize its government and more specifically the Chinese Communist Party. Consider for a moment why milk producers and infant formula manufacturers got away with adding melamine to infant formula and beating the government inspectors searching for watered down milk. There had to be government officials in China who looked the other way or took bribes to look the other way when doing the protein tests on milk to be used in baby formula. Had Chinese citizens been allowed to openly criticize government officials, then perhaps melamine contamination may have been discovered before even 100,000 babies were poisoned rather than 300,000 who suffered differing degrees of kidney failure? But where is the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on advocating for these safeguards in China and for free speech for Chinese citizens?

The U.S. Chamber isn't the only organization operating, unintentionally or otherwise, in a way that supports the CCP and its inherent corruption of the manufacturing process. What about the evil sister of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the American Tort Reform Association. A search of its site returned nothing on melamine, or drywall or even free speech. Where are they with criticizing the Chinese Government and the CCP? [This is the part where the ATRA and the Chamber are invited to prove me wrong with the comment section below. Please prove me wrong and point out some article I've missed on the Chamber site. Prove me wrong and I'll happily apologize.]
Who does provide money to these two organizations? Does the ATRA receive money from the CCP? I was curious so I wrote directly to Geneva Carney, the ATRA Membership Coordinator.
SHALL WE ASK IF THEY RECEIVE MONEY FROM THE CCP? SURE, WHY NOT.

Hi do you have any members who are also members of the Chinese Communist Party? And is your organizations financial contributors' public information? If not does the Chinese Communist Party of the Chinese Government provide financial support to the ATRA?
Thanks,

I'll let you know if she writes back and makes that information public. Did you know that secrecy is a cornerstone of communism and especially the CCP.
What's the relationship between the Chinese Communist Party and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce?
Take a look at these two videos about the melamine poisoning of food and then ask yourself if these problems should be a serious concern to an organization that says it represents the American public, American wage earners and workers and American business interests.

What does the U.S. Chamber of Commerce have to say about all of these issues that affect the American worker and American consumers?
What about melamine: Sorry, no results were found for your search: "melamine".
What about dry wall? Sorry, no results were found for your search: "dry wall".
What about the detention, arrest and prosecution of those like Liu Xiaobo, who publicly criticizes the CCP?
Sorry, no results were found for your search: "Chinese dissidents".
Sorry, no results were found for your search: "Liu Xiaobo".
What does the Chamber say about 'free speech'? Why does the U.S. Chamber only talk about free speech when it has to do with developing business in China? I wonder…. Anyone have a clue?
