Most Australians probably have some familiarity with Jon Stewart and his mix of hilarious comedy and scathing political commentary. While I enjoy Jon Stewart's The Daily Show, I find his Comedy Central colleague, Stephen Colbert to the funnier and more original satirist. Both Stewart and Colbert have been broadcast in Australia on The Comedy Channel for the past few years, but starting tonight more Australians will be able to watch The Colbert Report on ABC2.
If you have never seen The Colbert Report before, I highly recommend tuning in to ABC from 7:30pm tonight. (Don't feel guilty about missing the 7:30 Report, it's hardly worth watching over summer anyway. It will, however, be a tough call once Parliament resumes and Kerry O'Brien returns the chair.)
