Multiple Sections of Iowa I-35 Closed Due to Weather

Talk about being miserable. At this point in the winter every Iowan has to be sick and tired of battling the snow, ice, wind and sleet. Well let's not forget last weeks brief rain. The interstate, I-35, from Ames to Minnesota's border is closed due to blowing snow. The conditions are blinding

You can check road conditions on I-35 by visiting 'Iowa Winter Road Conditions' by the Iowa DOT.

Check out the map that shows the sections of I-35 closed. Before you leave home today, if you plan on traveling on Interstate 35 or 80 or even 235, visit this site to determine if your trip is even possible.

But let us keep going just so you know what people in Iowa have had to put up with. Are they having these problems in Texas, Oklahoma, Florida or North Carolina? How about in Bryant's or Mittleman's neck of the woods?

Interstate 35 is a part of the United States Interstate Highway system running north-south from Duluth, Minnesota (at an intersection known as the Can of Worms) to Laredo, Texas. Its length is 1568.38 miles (2,524.06 km).
