As much as I "get it" when it comes to Dad's OCD issues, and however much I appreciate the whole alcohol-free hand sanitizer story, your idea about "US Dept. of Soap.Inc" is as wild-eyed as that picture of you to the right, leading me to be that much more convinced that we don't come from the same egg.

For someone that's got the wacky idea of creating a web-based "research platform" that "captures stories from leading news publications", first-Mort Zuckerman would crush you, just on principal, so instead, you need to read the latest news about Cantor Fitz's re: their Hollywood Movie Futures trading system.

Dude, their idea is a good one, but its only half-baked. What with our expertise in trading system technology, we can trump them faster than Donald Trump stupidly said that "Bernie's family must have known what was going on.."

Or, if not wanting to compete against them, then you should be reaching out to your pal Howie Nudnick over at Cantor to explain that a system that lets retail investors bet and institutions hedge box office ticket sales is only the tip of the iceberg.

What about betting/hedging DVD sales, or betting on the # of downloads of movie trailers over the Net?

Do you have any idea how much those film finance bonding companies would love to have a real options expert giving them advice?? Do you think that Harvey Weinstein wouldn't love to manipulate (oops, I mean manage) his bets on those indie films of his? If he could buy the film rights to that crazy Baldwin story , and then buy straddles on it when its in post-production, he'd end up being the biggest player in the film futures market!

Sure, Dimes was Dad's "Director of Option Trading", but he's got a full-time job right now, and the two of us know more about futures trading and hedging strategies (sic "split-strike conversion") than just about anyone.  Well, at least I do! Cathy, take a note!

Speaking of notes: Mark, stop with the txt messaging! Get Shana on board and lets trash the Energy LLC and roll all of the assets into Madoff Media Inc...this can work! Easy Peasy!
