Time’s visit to SXSW has resulted their list of top 10 trends for 2010. They must have really geeked out there -seeing the future happen in real time instead publishing the news up to a week late.
1. Location, Location, Location
2. Building Platforms, Not Websites
3. Social Gaming
4. Augmented Reality
5. Living in the Cloud
6. Birth of the Backchannel
7. Frictionless Payments
8. Social Objects
9. iPad
10. A Richer Web
Not a bad list but it lacks something . . . like anything to do with straight content and news. A few trends there too. But I guess they’ve been missing the content trends since the start.
