 "Broward is what?" Conciliatory sounds from Llorente? ? it seems like it, at least from his comments in Thursday's Sun Sentinel, and his brand new "President's Message" (note to our various selves: never, ever, tick off Eddie Dominguez). Still, we?re not sorry for calling the Broward County Bar Association (BCBA) "a toothless, sycophant organization for people in power".  The simple truth is, no matter how many good works they?ve done providing CLE or performing charity events, they really are as much to blame for the sorry state of Broward's justice system as anyone else that comes to mind. For the BCBA to suddenly decree they?ll be policing the Blog, preaching professionalism after looking the other way or flat out enabling rotten behavior in our legal community, is the height of hypocrisy...continue to full post
