State aid scheme for farmers authorised

The Commission today authorised a temporary UK scheme to grant limited amounts of aid of up to ?15,000 to farmers, with a total  budget of approximately £20 million (?22.3 million). The measure is aimed at supporting farmers in UK who encounter difficulties as a result of the current economic crisis.
