Justice Stevens? Retirement and the Next Justice

By Jonathan H. Adler

ADVERTISEMENTS
(Jonathan H. Adler)

I?ve contributed to two online symposiua discussing Justice Stevens? retirement and his potential successor.

The first ? ?Topic A? on WashingtonPost.com ? includes contributions from Senator Arlen Specter, UC Irvine Dean Erwin Chemerinsky, and Walter Dellinger, among others.

The second, on National Review Online, includes contributions from many NRO regulars, as well as Notre Dame?s richard Garnett, George Mason?s Neomi Rao, and our own Eugene Volokh, among others.

In addition, WSJ.com has a roundup of reactions to Justice Stevens? retirement announcement (and this roundup of interest group responses).  And here is a round-up of responses from the justices.

[NOTE: I?ve added some links since this post first went up.]
