: New York City Personal Injury LawyerWorker at NJ Food Plant Injured When Arm Caught in Machinery
By Paul Napoli
Police say a worker was injured on the job at a New Jersey food processor, WPVI-TV Philadelphia reports.
The accident happened in Burlington County at the Ready Pac Produce facility at 700 Railroad Avenue in Florence Township. According to police, the woman employee caught her arm in a machine used to make the company's ready to eat food products.
A helicopter transported the injured woman to Helene Fuld Medical Center in Trenton. Her condition is unknown.
Ready Pac is a supplier of fresh-cut salads, complete meals, fruits and vegetables to retail grocery stores, mass merchandisers, restaurants and foodservice organizations throughout North America.
Many factors must be considered when determining if a worker's injury or death was the result of negligence, equipment failure or dangerous working conditions. If you have been injured while on the job, you may be entitled to compensation such as medical expenses and lost wages. If your loved one has been injured or killed on the job, you may be entitled to compensation for funeral expenses, lost prospect of receiving an inheritance and the loss of financial support for the loved one's personal injury or wrongful death.
