JACK COMES THROUGH

One of JAABLOG'S oldest and dearest friends, Jack Thompson, has really come through. Sure, we've had our differences, but as far as crusaders are concerned, no one can question his undying tenacity in fighting for what he believes is right.  He's even come after us on occasion, ultimately helping, in his own unique fashion, to define the boundaries of permissible speech, activities, and responsibilities of licensed attorneys in the blogosphere. It turns out Jack has also been actively following the anti-JAABLOG campaigns of people like Attorneys Carlos Llorente and Barbara Heyer.  In particular, he has noted their misplaced reliance on the Rules of the Florida Bar, particularly Rule 4-8.4(d) ("Misconduct") cited by both of them at different times...continue to full post
