Drunk Driver Killer Finds New Hope in Brooklyn

If this blog has taught us anything about Frederic Block, the senior federal judge in Brooklyn, it's that one could do worse than end up in his court as a criminal defendant. The latest defendant thanking his lucky stars: a man who is serving a sentence of 25 years to life in New York state prison for driving drunk and crashing into a police officer's wife in 1995.
