: Freedom to DifferYou can now "like" individual posts on Freedom to Differ
For the last few weeks you have been about to take advantage of Facebook's new social plugins and "Like" this blog. However, I have now also added the Facebook Like button to each individual post, so instead of liking the whole blog, you can now like individual posts. So what's the difference?
Well, if you hit the blog level Facebook Like button you
are essentially subscribing to my blog via Facebook and you will receive
updates in your Facebook newsfeed whenever I post something new to my blog.
But if you hit the Facebook Like button at the end of a post, you are highlighting that post to your Facebook friends with an update to your own Facebook profile and a link back to the post.
Of course, you don't have to chose one or the other: you can like the blog as well as individual posts!
