Broadband: The Song Remains The Same

MIT's Technology Review digs into a study by North Western University on why broadband prices haven't come down, even though the industry has expanded dramatically in the last 7 years (thanks Blue's News).

According to that study, broadband jumped from being in 20 percent of U.S. homes since 2004 to 65 percent in 2010. But while penetration in U.S. homes increased, the price of broadband internet remained flat. In analyzing the data from the study, MIT wonders why the broadband sector isn't obeying Moore's Law.
