: GamePolitics.comGameTreeTV at the Intel Developer Forum
By james_fudge
Today at the Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco, California, TransGaming unveiled a redesigned GameTreeTV user experience. The new GameTreeTV user experience allows consumers to browse through a catalog of content and quickly access games - the whole point of this new technology. TransGaming recently launched the GameTreeTV Authorized Developer Program, giving App developers access to the tools needed to create content for the platform.
The GameTreeTV Platform will be delivered to consumers through a number of distribution channels such as "Managed Service Operators (MSO), global OEMs (connected consumer electronics), and digital media solutions providers." The GameTreeTV Platform will be launching this fall in select European markets and then scaling quickly through 2011 globally.
You can learn more about what plans TransGaming has for its technology at www.transgaming.com. It is an interesting idea if the content is there to support it when it launches.
