Wayne, New Jersey police are on the hunt for two men who stole 16 copies of Halo Reach from the GameStop at the Preakness Shopping Center on Hamburg Turnpike. According to NorthJersey.com, on Wednesday afternoon, two men entered the store with the aim of stealing a bunch of games. One man distracted the clerk (he asked him to look for a system he was interested in) while the other unplugged a security camera - but not before it caught his image on film.
When the clerk was in the back looking for what the man requested the duo bagged 16 copies of Bungie's shooter from behind the counter and left the store. The games are valued at $1,000 (technically $959.84 before taxes). Why they only grabbed Halo Reach is unknown but if you're going to steal I guess grabbing the most popular game of the moment is as good a plan as any.
