Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney's Intellectual Property Group is experiencing growth regionally and nationally. Our Alexandria, Virginia office has an immediate opening and seeks a patent agent or associate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Physics or other comparable technical degree. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, drafting patent applications, prosecution of pending patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, client interactions and counseling, and evaluating patents as a part of drafting opinion letters. Registration before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office is required and Virginia Bar is preferred.
