New SBPS Offices in Marshall - Hub sign gets a new paint job

Hub- 512 We are not finished with our new offices in Marshall just yet, but we are getting there.

The old wagon wheel hub (it's actually sheet metal and oversized for display purposes) that's been outside the historic Hub Shoe Store on Austin Street in downtown Marshall since 1897 (and shown here in a 1910 postcard next to a horse-drawn wagon and 1917-ish photo)  Eastaustin-1910 started getting a new paint job today,  Its successor sign marking the new offices for SBPS in Marshall is hanging next to it. As you can tell, we included the historic Hub logo on our sign as well, and we're proud to be restoring this piece of Marshall's history outside our front doors.
