Report: Microsoft Looking to Sell Massive

The in-game advertising firm purchased by Microsoft in 2006 for hundreds of millions of dollars may be up for sales if you believe Adweek. The industry trade publication, citing sources close to and inside Microsoft, claims that Massive General Manager J.J. Richards is looking for a new job, and that Microsoft has been shopping a buyout of the firm to rival Double Fusion to the tune of six-figure to seven-figures.

The report also alleges that staff from Massive have been shifted to other division within Microsoft.

Microsoft has not confirmed this story.
