: GamePolitics.comHas GOG Redeemed Itself?
By james_fudge
Even though Good Old Games burned the media and its users by off-handedly hinting at the site's demise, the new games that it has released since the site came back (new and improved) are starting to make up for that dramatic tomfoolery.
The company has released a number of D&D classics including Planescape Torment, Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, and today - the popular Troika Games "Greyhawk Adventure" RPG, Temple of Elemental Evil. The game is available - with the usual assortment of extras including a digital manual, wallpapers, extra artwork, the game's soundtrack etc. - for $5.99.
GOG also gave away the Betrayal at Krondor extra, Betrayal in Antara. Betrayal in Antara is free to Betrayal in Krondor owners. It is a role-playing game that uses an updated version of Krondor's engine.
Find out more about both at www.gog.com.
