In Carson City, Nevada, the Las Vegas Sun reports:A Las Vegas loan modification and foreclosure consulting business has been fined $50,000 by the state for mishandling the money of homeowners. The state Division of Mortgage Lending also issued a closure order against U.S. Loan Modification Services, owned by Jeff and Gail Strum, which was licensed in January.The order, signed by Commissioner
