: Larry Bodine's LawMarketing BlogMarketing Lessons: Fairfield Inn vs. United Airlines
By Larry Bodine
In contrast to my experience with United, Fairfiled Inn near LaGuardia knows how to treat customers. When I called them and told them the airline had stranded me, Fairfield Inn:
- Was delighted to have a customer to fill their rooms.
- Promptly dispatched a van to pick me up, for free.
- Put me in a room with a king bed.
- Had freshly-baked, warm cookies at the check-in counter.
- The receptionist mentioned there was a free breakfast in the morning.
- He also handed me several takeout menus of restaurants he recommended. "They'll deliver your dinner right to your room," he said.
I will definitely stay at a Fairfield Inn again. United, not so much. See the short video below.
