By James Eccleston
Eccleston Law has launched an investigation of Chicago area financial advisor Christopher J. Bahr, formerly of Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, LLC (and Wachovia Securities Financial Network, LLC). Eccleston Law recently filed an arbitration claim on behalf of a senior investor who sustained substantial investment losses as a result of Mr. Bahr?s unsuitable strategies, and the firm is aware of at least one other arbitration that recently was filed (on behalf of a senior investor) involving Mr. Bahr?s conduct.
Upon information and belief, while acting as a fee-based investment adviser, Mr. Bahr disregarded established investment management principles such as Modern Portfolio Theory and recommended unsuitable portfolios heavily concentrated in equities to senior investors and retirees. In addition, Mr. Bahr may have engaged in reckless and speculative strategies such as short-selling in senior investors? portfolios, without regard to the appropriateness of such strategies. If you have lost money investing with Mr. Bahr, your losses may be recoverable through arbitration. Please contact Jim Eccleston or Ron Amato at 312-332-0000 for more details.
