Report: Rare and Relentless Hit with Layoffs

Two more UK studios make painful decisions on reducing costs by laying off employees. The latest casualties are employees of Rare and Relentless. According to a GameIndustry.biz report, Relentless Software laid off around twenty redundancies a few weeks ago, as part of a restructuring plan to focus on multi-platform game development. In the midst of these layoffs, Relentless is also recruiting for positions on new undisclosed projects.

"We have recently restructured the company to work on a variety of different projects and different platforms," director and co-founder Andrew Eades told GamesIndustry.biz.
