Okay first see this morning's post with some of the less-published damning documents about Bruce McKay's sketchy history and the town's knowledge of same, and then watch me and others testify as the State House properly rejected SB 154. That's why Bad Blood: Freedom and Death in the White Mountains Author and Screenplay writer Casey Sherman told my mother he was all amped-up over my work on this case...

Soooo.... Just now I finished a quick yoga set and prepared to head out for a skate when blam! Up pops another news story. Short film forthcoming, i.e. by 1:30 or so. I was barefoot and if you think the pavement is hot today, just try stepping on an electrical grate when you're not looking, truly remarkable heat coming off that puppy...

Oh, I might top this one in the next week but for the ability to put it together so quickly (I did it in 2 hours once the thumbs were uploaded), it's friggin' brilliant. Simply badass. I had great B footage, decent lighting and perfect prescience on the video and on the stills, this shit is award-winning and everybody knows it...

I know exactly what I'm talking about, when I point my cameras at a case. To wit, I knew that the anti-Semitic, racist bigots down in Lakeville (Scott Hyman/Julie & Don Prescott v. Hemlock Associaion) would get popped, but I didn't think they would get popped for $1...

As someone who has written for a large weekly and a large daily I find it absolutely fascinating how ephemeral some stories are. Take the Quincy "Road Rage" case that I choose to follow. I'm out of town and forgot to call in to the Courthouse yesterday for the (yet again) delayed final pretrial date but when I run a Google search nothing pops up...

This relates to this Boston.com ancient coverage (where are they now?) and this one from Enterprise News (same question).This is a case so foul that even seasoned court personnel looked on in shock and utter disbelief...

NH and MA Law Enforcement do some good things and they do some bad things. Allowing Amy Bishop to get away with the murder of her brother (IMO) was a Bad Thing, but at least now they did a Good Thing and set it before a Grand Jury that returned a True Bill for Murder, here is today's Boston Globe Coverage...
