...but people do! So this week's TortDeform posts will be a bit sparse. My intention is to make up for it with a nice roundup when I get back. In the mean time, every day I will highlight a few blogs for TD readers to visit for their daily dose of civil justice. I may not cover all of my favorite sites to visit this week. In fact, I know I won't be able to. But here are a few. Today's shout outs go to (...drum roll please...):
Overruled Blog. Today Ian Millhiser is scheduled to appear on Air America?s Montel Across America at about 10am, to discuss the Souter retirement and the future of the Supreme Court.
Eric Turkewitz' blog, New York Personal Injury Law Blog, always provides a good read and an interesting take on torts and other civil justice topics. And of course, Eric has contributed many many posts to TD.
Another TD regular, Justinian Lane, shows his snark(ier) side over on his own blog. Check it out. Now that I think about it, he may be in finals. But that doesn't mean he won't have something interesting to say on his blog.
You gotta love the folks over at Public Citizen for their tireless championing of the consumer cause, and the cause of the ordinary person. Check out their Watchdog Blog.
Last but not least, visit the Brennan Center's blog. These folks are serious about restoring justice to ordinary people like you and me, and making sure the courts aren't just a gamed system for the rich and powerful.
That's all for now. Please do visit these websites, comment on the blogs, debate respectfully, and enjoy!
