Sometimes I get so stressed out I just want to up and move to New Zealand or something. Well, this bit of news sure makes me think twice about that inclination. As Courtney at Feministing writes, it looks like New Zealand Needs its Own Lilly Ledbetter. They are trashing pay equity efforts due to budget constraints. Now, at a time when women are so seriously affected by pay disparities, that is just backwards. Bugger!
