LIFE IN PRISON!

Attorneys Richard Rosenbaum and Mike Tenzer have saved Omar Loureiro's life.  Despite ASA Brian Cavanagh's best efforts, the jury returned a recommendation of life in prison minutes ago, after deliberating for a little less than four hours.  It's unlikely the judge will override the jury's recommendation. Observers from the first trial recall the jury taking anywhere from ninety seconds to five minutes before they came back with a death recommendation.  The Judge then was Gardiner, and the prosecutor was former ASA Howard Scheinberg.  Gardiner resigned from the bench in disgrace, after it was learned she and Scheinberg had been in almost constant contact during the trial.                             (more to follow)
