More on the Narcissistic Generation of Oldsters

This is poetic:When the nest must be defended, its eldest residents ? with the least long-term utility remaining to them ? become the most suicidally aggressive, ?obedient to a simple truth that separates our two species: Where humans send their young men to war, ants send their old ladies.?Outside of war, consider Medicare.  Old people demand that young people sacrifice years of their lives and risk their financial future, all so that an old person can have one or two more additional years.  How can any young person paying Social Security taxes not feel like a slave?  Neither I or anyone in my generation believe that we will receive any Social Security benefits.  And yet we are required to pay over 12% of our wages in Social Security Taxes...continue to full post
