Texas Criminal Justice Integrity Unit Issues Report

Judge Barbara Hervey's office has released a report of the group's 2008 activities,  I've put a link in the right column Reports section.  It can be downloaded, here, as well.  Here's the brief introduction:This report discusses the activities, research findings, and progress of the Texas Criminal Justice Integrity Unit (TCJIU).  It summarizes activities for June 2008 through January 2009.   Established in June 2008, the TCJIU held its first formal meeting in August 2008.The TCJIU was created to review the strengths and weaknesses of the Texas criminal justice system.Furthermore, the TCJIU?s purpose is to bring about meaningful reform through education, training, and legislative recommendations...continue to full post
